Hinomaru

Hinomaru Jozo is a sake brewery located in Masuda-cho, Yokote City, Akita Prefecture. Founded in 1689 (Genroku 2nd year), we have been producing sake for over 300 years. Brands such as ``Mansaku no Hana'' are characterized by flavors that reflect Akita's rich nature and climate. For sake brewing, we use carefully selected sake rice and clean underground water that gushes from the brewery grounds, using a manufacturing method that combines traditional manual labor with modern technology. The brewer and brewer work together to brew sake with great attention to detail. Additionally, while valuing our ties with the local community, we are actively working to utilize local resources and support agriculture. Hinomaru Jozo pursues innovation while preserving tradition, and continues to produce sake that impresses its drinkers.
