About the Brewery
Founded in 1872, Suigei Sake Brewery's Nagahama Kura is located in Nagahama, Kochi, near Katsurahama, a scenic spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is located along the Pilgrimage Route of the 88 Sacred Sites of Shikoku, and has good access from Kochi City. Since its founding, this brewery has continued to innovate while preserving tradition, and in 1969, it became the current Suigei Sake Brewery.
In the brewery housed in a historic Japanese house, Suigei's standard products such as ``Special Junmai Sake'' and ``Junmai Ginjo Ginrei'' are brewed by inheriting the skills and passion of generations of brewers. In particular, ``Junmai Ginjo Ginrei'' is a product that uses Hokkaido's ``Ginpu'' rice, which is suitable for sake brewing, and pursues the rich flavor, acidity and refreshing feel of Suigei. The sake that this brewery continues to uphold and the unrelenting efforts of this brewery continues to be loved as a signature of Suigei.
