About the Brewery
Fuji Sake Brewery, located in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, is a long-established sake brewery founded in 1801 (Kyowa 1). We continue to produce sake in harmony with the local nature, making use of the rich land of the Shonai Plain and the clear water flowing from the Dewa Sanzan. The representative brand ``Eiko Fuji'' is loved by many drinkers as a sake that combines traditional techniques and new sensibilities with the theme of ``innovation and challenge.''
When brewing sake, we use locally produced sake rice and carefully selected raw materials, and are committed to making all of our products pure rice. Among them, the Junmai Daiginjo series, which is characterized by its fruity, gorgeous aroma and light taste, has received high praise both domestically and internationally.
We are also committed to environmental conservation and are characterized by our emphasis on coexistence with the local community. While valuing the traditions and techniques cultivated over 200 years since its founding, Fuji Sake Brewery will continue to pursue new possibilities and spread the charm of Yamagata.
