Higashine Fruit Wine is based in Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, and produces high-quality fruit wine using locally grown fruits. In particular, the cherry wine made with 100% Sato Nishiki from Higashine, which boasts one of the highest quality in Japan, is a masterpiece that can only be tasted here. We use fully ripened fruit within two days of harvest, and we offer additive-free wine that preserves the natural flavor of the fruit, without using concentrates, artificial sweeteners, or coloring agents. In wine production, we focus on creating safe and secure products based on scientific evidence, such as publishing analysis results of functional ingredients based on joint research with Yamagata University. In collaboration with local fruit farmers, we have established a production system that ensures traceability of ripe fruit. In addition, we contribute to the realization of local production for local consumption and a recycling-oriented society by utilizing by-products generated during wine production in trout farms and local industries. This wine is packed with the charm of Yamagata, the fruit kingdom, and contributes to health and regional development.
