“Art Paysan” is a winery that opened in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture in October 2019, with the aim of creating something unique and rooted in the region from a rich lifestyle without pursuing efficiency. We brew wine and cider using concentrated fruit grown on our own farm. "Art" in the name means "art" in French, and "Paysan" refers to "peasant". Inspired by local poet Kenji Miyazawa's ``Introduction to Peasant Art'', we aim to produce wine that can be called the art of farmers, as a creative work woven by nature and farmers.
