Kamegamori Brewery is a winery located in Osako-cho, Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. This brewery was started by an apple farmer and a grape farmer from this area, and they grow about 90% of the grapes and apples they use themselves. The cultivation method focuses on protecting the soil environment without using herbicides or chemical fertilizers. There are also fields that are not fertilized, using compost to provide nutrients naturally. During brewing, only fruit is used, without supplementary sugar or acid. Carbon dioxide gas is naturally generated through secondary fermentation in the bottle, resulting in very fine bubbles and a natural finish where the dregs settle without passing through a filter. In addition, sparkling wine is not pasteurized to bring out its maximum flavor.
