Shinshu Takayama Winery was established with the aim of revitalizing the region, using high-quality wine grapes grown in Takayama Village, Nagano Prefecture. Cultivation of wine grapes began in 1996, and now many growers have gathered here, expanding the cultivation area to 64 hectares. The winery was completed in 2016 and is now producing wine that takes advantage of the characteristics of the region. Grapes grown in the harsh natural environment of Takayama Village have received high praise at wine competitions both domestically and internationally.
