Hombo Sake Brewery has been working with distilled spirits for over 100 years since its founding. Inheriting the spirit of being "rooted in the community" since our founding, we value sake brewing that takes advantage of the local climate. The authentic shochu ``Yakusugi'' is carefully produced in handmade jars using soft water from Yakushima and carefully selected sweet potatoes. It is characterized by the deep sweetness, richness, and rich aroma that can only be achieved by this manufacturing method, and is loved by many people for its mellow taste.
