The company's shochu is made from sweet potatoes from Southern Satsuma, the birthplace of sweet potatoes, and uses groundwater rich in salt and minerals as the brewing water. Furthermore, it is brewed in Ibusuki, which has a warm climate, using Japanese jars that have been passed down since the Meiji era.
