Fukiage Shochu is a brewery with a history of over 120 years, having been founded in 1896, and has 14 employees. In 2021, it won the honorable mention award for the 19th consecutive year at the Kagoshima Prefecture Honkaku Shochu Appraisal, and its reputation is widely known throughout Kagoshima Prefecture. When the company was first founded, Sohei Tsuji began manufacturing shochu, and the company was incorporated in 1951. Mr. Saikichi Iryo has been appointed as the representative director of Fukiage Shochu Co., Ltd. Later, in 1975, it became a subsidiary of Ozeki Co., Ltd., and in 1995, it began selling its representative brand, ``Komatsu Tatewaki.'' While preserving tradition, we continue to brew sake that is rooted in the region using reliable techniques.
