In this area overlooking the blue East China Sea, the clear spring water from the Shirasu Plateau supports the production of shochu along with the blessings of the earth. Based on the shochu culture of Satsuma, which has a history of about 500 years, Hioki Distillery uses a manufacturing method that combines tradition and the latest technology.
