Sengetsu Sake Brewery is a long-established shochu brewery founded in 1903 in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture. The name comes from Sengetsu Castle, the residence of the Sagara clan, and symbolizes the delicate and beautiful shochu making. We have had an exclusive brewer since our founding, and the techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation are now being passed on to the 6th generation. In particular, the third generation brewer, Toyoshi Hisa, was the first in the shochu world to receive the title of ``Modern Master Craftsman'' and laid the foundation for the brewery.
