Gekkeikan is the oldest sake brewery founded in Fushimi, Kyoto in 1637. During the Meiji era, we established the first research institute in the sake industry and pursued quality improvements that incorporated science and technology. Advocating ``Quality First'' and ``Creation and Innovation,'' we manufacture and sell mainly sake, liqueurs, imported beer, and wine. Under the current president, Haruhiko Okura, the 14th generation, the company has expanded its business both domestically and internationally, providing high-quality products as a brand worthy of the name "Gekkeikan." We continue to spread the sake culture while preserving tradition.
