Otokoyama Honten is a long-established sake brewery that was founded in Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture in 1912, and has a history of over 100 years, along with the region's rich nature. The port town of Kesennuma is blessed with seasonal seafood such as tuna and bonito, and the sake brewing at Otokoyama Honten is also rooted in the local climate. We strive for a light, elegant, and refreshing sake that goes well with fresh local seafood. We use "Kura no Hana" sake rice from Miyagi Prefecture, grown by local farmers, and are particular about producing sake rice that reflects the climate of Kesennuma and the blessings of the earth.
