Founded in 1724, Saura served as a sacred sake brewery for Shiogama Shrine in the latter half of the Edo period, producing traditional sake. Sake is a symbol of the culture that has been nurtured over 2000 years of Japanese climate and history, and is deeply rooted in people's lives. Saura's basic policy is to ``make real sake with care and sell it with care,'' and we strive to brew high-quality sake with all our heart. Our mission is to deliver richness and comfort to consumers and spread the appeal of Japanese sake widely through honest and careful sales.
