Miyao Sake Brewery is a historic sake brewery founded in 1819 and based in Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture. The representative brand, Shimehari Tsuru, is widely known for its high quality. Murakami City, a rice-producing region, produces high-quality rice suitable for sake brewing, such as Gohyakumangoku and Etsudanrei, and uses clear well water on the premises for the preparation water that influences the taste of the sake. Since our founding, we have maintained a sincere approach to sake brewing, and our chief brewers and brewers have continued to carefully craft sake that combines tradition and technology. With the desire to deliver "good sake" as much as possible, we aim to bring out the best quality of the ingredients to the fullest and create "delicious sake" that is loved by everyone. The result of these efforts is Shimeharitsuru, which is loved by many sake lovers for its aromatic and delicate taste.
