Since its founding in 1865 by the first generation Oki Daikichi Honten in Yabuki-cho, Fukushima Prefecture, the company has continued to pursue innovation in sake brewing while working with the local nature. We produce brands such as ``Shizenkyo,'' ``Gakki Masamune,'' and ``Hello, Cooking Sake,'' and aim to produce highly precise brews without compromise. We are also working to pass on our rich brewing culture through human resource development and nature conservation. Yabuki's underground water is soft water from the Nasu Mountains, and is an important element indispensable for brewing sake and diluting water. In recent years, the abandonment of farming and the increase in the number of idle fields are having an impact on the water environment, but the store owns its own rice fields and is working hard to revive them. As the only sake brewery in the area, we uphold the philosophy of "mutual prosperity" and actively participate in local activities. For example, the junmai ginjo ``Hakai no Uta'', which was created through exchanges with sister city Mitaka City, uses locally produced sake rice and has become a symbol of deepening regional bonds. Oki Daikichi Honten continues to grow together with the local community and continues its efforts to pass on the richness of sake brewing to the future.
