Ichinokura's sake brewing is based on the fundamental principles of coexistence with nature, passing on tradition, customer satisfaction, and regional development. Sake brewing and fermentation technology is unique to Japan, developed by our ancestors through continuous dialogue and interaction with nature, even back when people didn't even know that microorganisms existed. Taking advantage of this tradition and continuing honest sake brewing without sparing effort is the origin of Ichinokura's founding. In 1971, Asami Shoten, Katsuki Sake Brewery, Sakurai Sake Brewery, and Matsumoto Sake Brewery in Miyagi Prefecture came together to create Ichinokura, and since then, we have continued to offer safe and enriching lifestyles. The first president, Zensaku Matsumoto, entrusted his wish to young people: ``Share the joys and sorrows as a family, and create high-quality sake that preserves the handmade preparation.'' This spirit of handcrafting has been passed down to this day, and we continue to create products that harmonize tradition and modern technology.
